Your data is used exclusively to provide the GEORank service: authenticating your account, tracking scan usage against your monthly limit, and maintaining your scan history.

3. Third-Party Services

We use OpenAI's API to perform content analysis. The page content you scan is sent to OpenAI for processing. We do not share your personal information (email, name) with third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a secured MySQL database. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sessions use HTTP-only cookies with SameSite protection.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Scan history is retained for up to 12 months. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

By creating an account and using GEORank, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

GEORank is an AI-powered content analysis tool that evaluates web pages for visibility in generative AI search engines. The service provides scores, analysis, and optimization suggestions.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration. One account per person.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to bypass scan limits or rate limiting
• Submit malicious URLs or content
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
• Reverse-engineer or copy the scoring methodology

5. Service Availability

GEORank is provided "as is" without warranty. We make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

The GEORank brand, scoring algorithms, and interface design are proprietary. Analysis results are provided for your personal or business use. You may not claim GEORank's analysis as your own product.

7. Limitation of Liability

GEORank provides informational analysis only. We are not liable for business decisions made based on our scores or recommendations. Maximum liability is limited to the fees paid in the last 12 months.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
